Its time to grieve well
Redefine your grief.
Embrace your call to healing, fully equipped with the mindset, knowledge, emotional clarity, spiritual depth, and practical actions needed to truly step into radical healing.
Mind. Body. + Soul.
Grief is so much more than an emotion...
Grief is nonlinear. It resides on a spectrum, felt and experienced differently from person to person. So it shouldn’t be treated as a one-size-fits-all emotion with a time-limit. It is so much more than that.
Grief is not just emotional. It’s somatic. It’s spiritual. It’s physical. The grief experience is one of those spaces where all of the aforementioned energies meet, intertwine, & coexist in a synergistic relationship. The simple act of using a breathing technique to calm the nervous system and increase vagal tone and emotional resilience is direct support of the feedback loop that exists between this triad.
Redefine your grief.
How do we address such a traumatic, deeply-personal, and sometimes isolating emotion?
It starts with a profound and radical perspective shift. Instead of running away from grief we must compassionately and gracefully embrace it.
It’s only natural to try to flee from grief. But it’s not going anywhere until it’s given proper attention.
Embracing a whole body, mind, soul approach to walking through grief can allow a person to heal at a more rapid, higher, truer level than if only one piece were being addressed. It also fosters a finer awareness of how one part of grieving may be contributing to another area of the triad, i.e. a new disease symptom that may otherwise seem idiopathic to a physician who is unaware of the patient’s grief.

What people are experiencing:
She’s showed me how to get back to the "me" before motherhood, helped me see the importance of my mental health and how that effects not only myself, but my family too. I am so grateful for our bi-weekly calls. The calls always come at the perfect time when I need her the most without realizing. Since working with Abby, I've taken charge of saying YES and NO to the things that serve or do not serve me, I've started reading again, cooking again, working hard in my marriage again, and working out joyfully again. Thank you, Abby - for your encouragement and assistance on getting my LIFE back.

In my time with Abby everything started to connect with how my body and mood felt after different lifestyle choices. I shifted from negative self-talk to instead embracing the power and potential of my body and treating it with care. I’m thankful to Abby and excited to continue to build on keeping up the habits I’ve been working so hard to establish and continue to learn about the connections of lifestyle and my body.
